LEGO ready to land in the NFTs? The news that breaks bricks

A New Player in the NFT World – It only took one tweet to get fans of NFT and Lego bricks on fire.

Could it be possible that the world famous brand of building bricks, too, will start to accompany this general movement of the crypto industry?

Lego x NFT: the unexpected crossover

Lego, the company behind the building bricks that rocked our childhood, is said to be on its way to joining the vibrant NFT ecosystem.

Indeed, on Wednesday March 24, the builder of plastic bricks, published a tweet for the least intriguing: “Zeros and ones, but it remains a brick. #NFT ”.

In addition to this post, the tweet features a video of a 3D Lego construction, the bricks of which show glitch effects.

An extremely mysterious tweet, because it was deleted immediately. However, it didn’t take much longer for various theories to swarm around an upcoming introduction of Lego into the world of NFTs.

Anyway, all Lego fans do not see such a transition favorably, because several Internet users have expressed their fears, pointing in particular to the energy-intensive nature of the NFTs.

A fact that would not agree with the “green initiative” launched by the brand in 2021.
